In addition, analytical methods based on finite element method for two rafters tested are introduced in this paper. A comparison between experimental work and analytical research is given and discussed. Simulation of spatial truss components gives good test results. A test program was designed in the current work to capture the structure of two different space rafters under static load and under temperature rise at the rig nodes until failure. The results of the two space rafters tested included center accuracy of the truss and axial force in the truss members under the applied load and temperature.
